Ruby on Rails Development Director / Architect
Are you a Ruby Professional who thrives on a challenging and rewarding job? We are looking for a professional with full-life cycle experience, including: design, development, testing, deployment and documentation.
The successful candidate will have at least three successful Ruby development projects on their resume and strong communication skills, having led an effort of 4 or more programmers in the role of technical architect, technical lead, or task manager for at least one of those projects. The other skills required include:
- Experience Leveraging Cloud Based Development Resources

Sr. Solutions Architect
Metaformers is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Solutions Architect with proven PeopleSoft expertise. You will have the desire to thrive in a challenging and rewarding role, in a highly professional team. As a seasoned consultant you will be responsible for transforming our clients’ vision through execution into a sustainable solution. In this role you will work very closely with other Metaformers, clients and partners, representing the professionalism, integrity, and accountability of the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Leverage industry best practices to meet strategic and tactical objectives for the organization.
- Provide strong subject matter expertise to identify and translate business and system requirements into design artifacts and related documentation (e.g. design documents, test scripts, training aides, etc).
- Identify the most challenging components and greatest risks of a proposed solution, and draw up appropriate plans to mitigate or strengthen the viability of an approach .
- Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with colleagues, clients and partners.
- Manage assigned scope, client expectations, and client issues for all assignments.
- Provide education and knowledge transfer for clients and fellow team members.
- As required, work with business development team to assist with proposals, present solutions, develop statements of work, and support any other sales activities.
- Proven knowledge-leadership that has had critical impact on the success of at least 5 client implementations/upgrades.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry best practices, Public Sector experience a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years PeopleSoft experience, but will consider exceptional candidates will less experience.
- Demonstrated expert with broad experience across the PeopleSoft suite and has an in-depth knowledge of at least 5 modules with working knowledge of the integration of other products within the suite, as well as integration with other suites.
- Proven ability to communicate at all levels with both verbal and written communications with the Metaformers team, our customers and our partners, including executive level engagement.
- In-depth PeopleSoft trouble shooting skills.
- Thorough understanding of Project Life Cycle Management.
- An ability to lead and deliver success under difficult circumstances.
