Edward Bouryng, PresidentAs President, Ed Bouryng serves the team through his knowledge-leadership in federal financial management and PeopleSoft products for the federal government. Essentially, whatever is needed to make the team and Metaformers' clients successful, Ed steps forward to do so. Ed founded Metaformers in 2000 with a vision to establish a different kind of consulting firm, focused on knowledge-leadership and innovation, where each member's ability to impact strategy is not a right, but a responsibility, and with the highest professional standards for success. The President's role includes the ultimate responsibility for upholding the team's core values and Ed is strongly committed to this ongoing task. Ed has fifteen years of federal systems experience and thirteen uninterrupted (and intense) years of federal financial management consulting experience and continues to serve clients in the federal government. He has led roles in five JFMIP examinations with PeopleSoft release 8.4 and release 8.8 and KPMG's products (FAMIS).
Ed holds a BS degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, is a CPA, and a CGFM.
Andrew Beck, Vice President, Global OperationsAndrew Beck has over 15 years of experience in delivering Enterprise Systems solutions to clients around the world. Andrew joined Metaformers in April 2003 following almost 5 years with PeopleSoft, Inc as an Account Manager and later as a Senior Project Manager. His in-depth experiences in strategy, infrastructure technology, applications, and organization performance optimization have led to successful client engagements in over 30 countries. As Vice President of Global Operations, Andrew maintains responsibility for the performance of US and International operations, including leading Metaformers into new country markets. Andrew is also a strong advocate of the Metaformers core values, focusing on their application in customer, internal and partner relationships.
Andrew attended the University of Plymouth in the UK and holds a BS in Computer Information Systems.
Christina Caporale, Vice President, SolutionsChristina Caporale is a driven consulting professional who has proven her ability to add value to her clients during engagements through her distinctive management and leadership style and her extensive PeopleSoft product knowledge. Christina has deep leadership and vision skills which have ensured her teams have cohesively delivered solutions above and beyond her customers' needs. She consistently works closely with her team and clients to foster and ensure successful and strong relationships. Christina brings to Metaformers over seven years of experience in business and systems engineering consulting. She has spent the past five years in lead positions for federal financials clients performing implementations and upgrades on the PeopleSoft Financials 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x platforms. She is highly proficient and motivated and has extensive experience presenting to and facilitating clients and co-workers. Her successful leadership track record includes every step in an implementation life cycle - strategy, planning, analysis, design, build and deliver. She is currently an active member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Christina is currently working towards her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Christina holds a BA from Providence College and an MBA from the University of Denver's Daniel's College of Business.
Dave Hendrickson, Director, North American OperationsDave Hendrickson is an experienced engagement professional with a proven track record of building successful client service teams, developing innovative customer-focused programs and driving implementation teams to meet and exceed goals. He brings to Metaformers his hands-on and collaborative managerial skills custom built from a solid MBA program and over 15 years of growth in entrepreneurial and up-market environments. Dave is an independent and creative thinker uniquely skilled in orchestrating people, process and technology into successful and repeatable business solutions.
In his 5 years as a Director with PeopleSoft Consulting, Dave built a successful services practice, orchestrating complex engagements across the entire range of the ERP applications. During that period, he managed successful partnerships with dozens of services customers, including Sears, Wesley-Jessen, Hilton Hotels and everyone's favorite: Mother's Cookies. Ultimately, he managed the entire North American operations for PeopleSoft Consulting including the supporting systems for over 2,000 field consultants.
Dave holds a BA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
Michael Barnard, General Manager - UKMike Barnard has over 18 years IT delivery experience covering bespoke application development, packaged application implementation, application support, and hosting services. Having worked in a number of international markets in technical development, implementation consulting, practice management, project management, and business development, Mike brings to Metaformers a broad base of knowledge founded on practical, hands-on experience.
For the past seven years Mike has led IT consulting teams in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia/Pacific. Mike is a passionate, can-do, self-starter with a strong focus on team dynamics, effective partnering, and results-based customer success. During his nine years working for PeopleSoft Europe, including four years as Global Services Director, Mike developed extensive knowledge of the PeopleSoft application suite, the PeopleSoft customer community, and the PeopleSoft Partner community. In addition to PeopleSoft, Mike has also worked for Cap Gemini and Misys Banking Systems in a variety of professional services roles.
When not working, Mike enjoys the company of his young family and various outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, sailing, hiking, horse riding.
Mike holds a BSC degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester.
George Emmanuel, Business Development Manager - Western RegionGeorge Emmanuel is an experienced business development and marketing executive with a 20-year proven track record of building and managing successful global sales and marketing teams, developing innovative Best Practices Implementation based services solutions, and driving sales and marketing teams worldwide to meet and exceed goals.
Before joining Metaformers, George was the Western Regional Services Sales & Marketing executive at Computer Associates selling CA's solutions for IT service management, IT operations management, security management, storage management, and life cycle management to C-level executives at Fortune 1000 accounts. Prior to CA George was the North American Sales Director at Clarify selling Web based CRM solutions. Prior to this, he spent 10 years in the IT sales and consulting industry in a variety of senior worldwide sales management roles with Candle and IBM.
Before moving into his IT sales career, George spent 12 years with Hughes Aircraft Company, as the Sr. Corporate MIS Program Manager responsible for consolidating and managing all HR, Financial, Manufacturing, Engineering, ERP, and CRM applications, and their data center and network facilities management operations, with a professional IT services staff of 85.
George holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA, and he obtained his Management Policy Institute Certificate from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.
George served his military service in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry communications officer with the 7th Marines, Third Marine Division, and as one of the senior Cryptologists for the Commander in Chief Pacific (CINCPAC) at Camp Smith in Honolulu, HI.
